Hi,
am facing almost the same problem as Stephan.
Need to migrate an SBS to Win16 and Exchange 16.
The existing system had last seen an update in 2015.
So first I updated the server and then I wanted to install UR29.
However, the installation runs through WITHOUT errors and is completed at the end.
Excerpt from the log:
###################
MSI (c) (C4:30) [15:39:30:529]: Product: Microsoft Exchange Server -- Configuration completed successfully.
MSI (c) (C4:30) [15:39:30:529]: Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Product Name: Microsoft Exchange Server. Product Version: 14.3.123.4. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation. Reconfiguration success or error status: 0.
MSI (c) (C4:30) [15:39:30:544]: Grabbed execution mutex.
################
But the version remains at: 14.3 (Build 123.4)
(In the PowerShell and EMC)
I then searched for an "earlier" UR. UR11 would be enough.
File downloaded. It also has a different size than UR29 - But when I start it, it also says UR29 - Strange!
Any idea how I can get the system to the required level for migration?
Worst case, I would have to do the step via Exchange 2013. But I have no desire to do that! :-)
the log file of the installation is 14MB in size.
I have "skimmed" them: - But I can't figure it out:

Looking forward to your feedback....
Hello,
MS no longer offers the old URs for download. Have you thought about installing the required .NET version first?
Greetings,
Frank
Hello everyone,
I am facing exactly the same problem.
I have read that Exchange 2010 SP3 still uses the "old" .Net 3.5 libraries. Which .NET Framework version is the correct version for Rollup Pack 30?
Greetings,
Alex
