If you want to deactivate the SID filter on a German-speaking Windows 2008 or 2008 R2 server, use the following command:
Netdom trust /domain: /quarantine:No /userD: /passwordD:
Please note "/quarantine:No", in Windows 2003 and on Windows Server 2008 (R2) this parameter is "/quarantine:No".
Server 2008 also indicates that the command was executed successfully and that the SID filter is deactivated on the system. However, this is not the case. If you omit the "No" entry, you can view the status of the SID filter:
Netdom trust /domain: /quarantine /userD: /passwordD:
