In the last article I published some information about Exchange 2019, and I have already received a lot of emails about this today. Many readers of the article are wondering whether at least 128 GB of RAM is really required for Exchange 2019.

A minimum of 128 GB of RAM is recommended for the Mailbox role. For the Edge Transport role, 64 GB of RAM is still recommended as a minimum.
Interesting, however, is a video from Ignite 2018 with Greg Taylor and Phoummala Schmitt (aka Exchange Goddess), here the recommended minimum is somewhat relativized:
I understand it like this: Exchange 2019 will also work with less than 128 GB RAM. To get the maximum performance out of Exchange 2019, 128 GB RAM is recommended.
By the way, the video contains another very interesting statement: Outlook 2010 is not officially supported, but it works, so far...
