A little bit about me and this site
I started this site in 2010, initially it was intended as a "personal notebook". I simply wanted to document certain problems and their solutions, because I often found myself in situations where I thought to myself: "I've had this problem before, what was the solution!"
In principle, this is how this site came about and it has now developed into a kind of hobby. In 2010, I was employed as an administrator at a system house and therefore wrote a lot about problems and their solutions from my day-to-day work. This has changed somewhat as my professional environment has also changed.
I am currently employed as an IT architect for infrastructure and cloud at Europe's largest kitchen manufacturer. Fortunately, I am still responsible for my personal favorite products Exchange Server and Active Directory.
Along with the professional change, the articles on this page have also changed. Whereas in the past it was often problem solutions, there are currently more HowTo's on certain functions.
Fortunately, a very loyal readership has formed over the past few years. The numerous emails and comments on the articles provide me with new topics and inspiration for this site. Unfortunately, due to the large number of emails and comments, I can no longer reply to every message, as this would go beyond my time frame. Nevertheless, I try to respond to comments and e-mails as best I can.
In 2016, I came up with the idea of the Exchange User Group OWL (EUGO), the only offline community for Exchange Server and other topics in North Rhine-Westphalia to date. The EUGO meets about every 3 months in a convivial atmosphere and discusses current IT topics in a relaxed atmosphere. So if you feel like it, you are welcome to drop by. Current dates are always announced in good time on this page.
Criticism, suggestions and questions are always welcome. There are plenty of ways to contact us.
