This year is a milestone birthday, as this site has now been in existence for 10 years. We are celebrating this birthday with a proper clean-up and a new design.
I have implemented the following optimizations and improvements in the last few days:
- Old data disposed of (thousands of corpses deleted from the web server)
- 6 plugins deleted, which were old and superfluous
- Database cleaned up and reduced by 150 MB, deleting countless old tables in the process
- CSS caching enabled, FrankysWeb now loads much faster than before
- New design or theme
Although the design has not changed that much, the new design is more modern and tidier, as the areas of the site are now clearly separated from each other and the content area has become wider. In addition, the new theme has significantly fewer CSS and HTML errors. I hope you like the new design as much as I do.

In the current version, the speed still fluctuates somewhat, but it already looks much better:
I hope you like the new design as well. I also hope that the annoying HTTP 500 errors that occurred from time to time are now a thing of the past. The availability of this site has suffered a bit in the last few days:
Unfortunately, I didn't manage to finish all the changes by the day of the first post on May 8, 2010, which was actually one of my goals, but better a little later than never. In any case, I didn't want to wait until my 15th birthday.
There will certainly be a few minor changes in the near future, for example I still have to change the colors of the forum. As soon as I have finished, there will be new articles.
