- Exchange Server 2013 Cumulative Update 23
CUs for Exchange 2019 cannot be downloaded publicly, but are only available via VLSC, Visual Studio (MSDN) or Action Pack.

Before the updates are installed, the Visual C++ 2012 Runtime must be installed. You should also run "setup.exe /prepareAD" before installation. Exchange now supports .NET Framework 4.8.

Windows Defender and other virus scanners in particular should be deactivated for the duration of the installation, as they tend to cause problems during the update. Windows Defender in particular ensures that Exchange CUs take several hours to install.
