Sophos has released version 9.6 of the UTM. The update to version 9.6 requires UTM version 9.510-5. The update carries the version 9.600-5. Here is the list of new features:

Sandstorm: Manual File Submission
- Allows an admin to upload a file for detonation within Sophos Sandstorm
- Files that have not been received via email or web download can also be analyzed with Sophos Sandstorm
Sandstorm: Persistent Reports
- Reporting for Sandstorm Activity over time and with historical information
- Reporting also covering hash lookup based results from Sophos Sandstorm
SMTP Proxy: Enhancements
- Submission Port support in SMTP Proxy
- Configurable Listen Address in SMTP Proxy
WAF: Error Page Customization
- Custom themes for all error pages that are delivered by WAF
- Allows to provide corporate identity on all pages

Before updating, it is essential to create a backup and test the update thoroughly in a test environment. The UTM updates have often contained errors, which should lead to increased caution.
Most people will have been waiting for the integration of Let's Encrypt; I will publish a corresponding HowTo for this. Unfortunately, IKEv2 did not make it into version 9.6.
The update is currently not yet being distributed via Up2Date, so it must be installed manually:
