Tip: Microsoft Office 2021 available with Visual Studio subscription

I don't check the Visual Studio subscription downloads that often, but today I noticed that Office 2021 is now available for download:

I'm not sure how long this has been the case because, as I said, I only check the portal irregularly. However, this was not the case shortly after the release of the new Office version. I therefore installed the new Office version today:

Outlook has received an update to the interface in version 2021, the new interface now looks a little tidier in my opinion. Here is an example:

In other applications such as Word, however, the interface looks almost unchanged, with only a few changes at first glance (in the upper area):

I find it a pity that the Office applications ignore the dark mode in Windows 11, together with the different design of the interfaces of the individual Office applications, this seems somehow unfinished to me:

However, there is at least a dark mode in Office 2021, but it doesn't match Windows 11 visually either:

Here is an overview of the new Office 2021 features:

For now, I'm going to get to grips with the new Outlook features. By the way: The Outlook search still doesn't work across all connected mailboxes, which I also find a pity.

The official Office 2021 release was already on October 5, 2021, now it would be time for a sign of life from the new Exchange Server. Unfortunately, there was also Microsoft Ignite 2021 No announcement or news about Exchange vNext. The new Exchange version was supposed to be released this year, but so far there is hardly any information about the new Exchange version. So time is running out.
